My grandmother, Martina, taught me how to sew on her mother Luz's sewing machine. With no formal background in fashion design, but fueled by curiosity and a deep desire to create, I began making clothing during a period of isolation in 2021. I started by creating pieces for myself and my friends, and what began as instinct slowly became Mariana.
Surrounded by the women who shaped me and the ones I continue to grow alongside, I discovered my truest sense of self. They remain my greatest source of inspiration, influencing not only the pieces I make, but also the world I hope to create around them.
Through Mariana, I hope to build a space where creativity and collaboration come together naturally. A place where craftsmanship is valued, beauty is found in the details, and clothing becomes a way to connect with ourselves, with one another, and with the stories we carry.
