Mariana is a space inspired by femininity and beauty in all of its forms, born from a desire to create and connect.
Each piece is designed and made in small quantities between New York and Mexico City. Through made-to-order garments, one-of-a-kind reimagined pieces, and thoughtful craftsmanship, Mariana embraces a slower and more intentional way of making.
My grandmother, Martina, taught me how to sew on her mother Luz's sewing machine. With no formal background in fashion design, but fueled by curiosity and a deep desire to create, I began making clothing during a period of isolation in 2021. I started by creating pieces for myself and my friends, and what began as instinct slowly became Mariana.
Surrounded by the women who shaped me and the ones I continue to grow alongside, I discovered my truest sense of self. They remain my greatest source of inspiration, influencing not only the pieces I make, but also the world I hope to create around them.
Through Mariana, I hope to build a space where creativity and collaboration come together naturally. A place where craftsmanship is valued, beauty is found in the details, and clothing becomes a way to connect with ourselves, with one another, and with the stories we carry.
